Beer drinking games. There are many. I read a book back in university (really I did):
The Complete Book of Beer Drinking Games. The image of the cover appears here to indicate the publication and edition:
The aim of a (beer) drinking game is supposedly to compete and drink in a creative, competitive, money-making, humiliate-your-opponent, prideful, fast, crazy, innovative, or ingenious sort of way.
There are also infamous beer-drinking games such as Beer Pong. For those of you who might not know, it’s a drinking game involving Solo cups, beer and Ping Pong balls. Underneath Beer Pong’s veneer of fun is the aim of drinking quickly, to excess, or both.
Drinking games are dangerous. This is because they often involve comsuming large amounts of alcohol without much thought to safety or well-being. The games ignore the inherent risks of getting very intoxicated very quickly, with no tracking of how much, how quickly, or how to get home.
