We’ve been getting the Toronto Star delivered to our home on and off for the past few years whenever there is a good introductory rate offered. Our subscription runs out at the end of this month and I’m thinking that maybe I need a break.
Alcohol and work have long been a hot topic. The Star has recently been covering various events that the mayor has been at where he was representing the city in his official mayoral capacity and was questionably intoxicated. There seems to be credible witnesses to suggest that his behaviour is under scrutiny due to his consumption of alcohol.
Is it okay to have a beer at lunch and then go back to work? What about having a few glasses of wine at an evening function while on the company payroll? Where do you draw the line?
