I don’t know if you’re a George Thorogood fan, but he certainly put on an amazing show at Casina Rama on Saturday night. During ‘One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer’ he said that you shouldn’t drink and drive, you should get a friend to drive you home. Or you could have your girlfriend drive you home, or even better, have your friend’s girlfriend drive you home. Maybe my ‘rock n roll’ bias is showing but I think that the more we hear these messages in various ways, the more apt we are to listen and change our behaviour.
Here at howmanydrinks our last call is today, Wednesday August 31, which is the final day to enter to win an iPad2. We’ve tried various means to get our messages across – twitter, facebook, blogs – and hopefully you’ve become aware of the link between alcohol and chronic disease, as well as the Low-Risk Drinking Guidelines. If you’re so inclined, we’d love to hear what you thought of our campaign. Feedback always welcome!

Last call for alcohol, so what you need?”
