Liquor stores close before the puck drops

I recently read that a number of liquor stores in British Columbia will be closed prior to the big game. Apparently after Friday’s home game Vancouver police were kept busy with liquor pour-outs and two dozen arrests for breach of the peace and public intoxication. Common side bar to high intensity sports, especially hockey in Canada. On a more interesting note, this match has been a real nail biter. Will the home game advantage be enough for the Canuck’s tonight? Will Luongo choke, or is he ready to bring home the cup? Will Canadians be celebrating tonight?
